Multimedia Filters
- Multimedia water filtration system is to treat/remove coarse materials or suspended solids which presents in the municipal water (and wastewater) above 10 Micron size.
- Multimedia filtration system is Fiber glass reinforced polymer vertical pressure vessel loaded with different grades of medias. Internally it shall be fitted with baffle distributor to provide uniform flow to system. Also, there is bottom hub & lateral collector to collect filtered water.
- Externally it shall be fitted with copper pipe/PPR work & automatically operated Multiport valves or manually operated valves.
- Fine suspended solids, turbidity, silt, free chlorine, Organic particles, pesticides etc…and Giardia cysts, cryptosporidium cysts will be filtered through various grades of sand & carbon bed.
